Mary Beth & Mike are engaged!!
Mary Beth and I go wayyyyyyyyyy back to the college days when we both attended Cal Poly Pomona’s Architecture School. We found each other on facebook a few years ago, and I am so glad we did! I still remember our wedding consultation at a local Starbucks (ain’t no shame!), and Mike and I actually high fived each other at the end of the consultation. So you can imagine how glad I was when I found out they were going to book me for the wedding!! Mike is HILARIOUS, in case you couldn’t tell from some of these pictures. And yes, that is him planking on the handrails. Mike is also a talented voice over actor in Los Angeles. You can see some of his work at his website Mind Over MIC. Mary Beth is still practicing architecture in the Orange County area.
We started the fun engagement session at Shoreline Village in Long Beach, and then we moved over to Shore Line Aquatic Park and the famous Long Beach lighthouse. Afterwards we went to 2nd street in downtown Long Beach and there were a ton of cool shops and restaurants. Since it was Saturday afternoon, most of the shops were packed with patrons. But we were able to shoot inside a cool candy shop called Powell’s Sweet Shoppe. It was so much fun! Mike & Mary Beth got these cool big fat red lips that we used as props. If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding will be off the hook!! Especially they hired the super talented Sassy Girl Weddings & Events. Can’t wait for their wedding in December!!!
